Dr. M. Dhanapal, MP – Double Appointment to Prestigious Parliamentary Committees

It is a moment of immense pride for our constituency as Dr. M. Dhanapal, Honorable Member of Parliament (Rajya Sabha), has been appointed to two highly significant positions by the Government of India.
Dr. Dhanapal has always been a tireless voice for the people, working for the welfare and development of our state and nation. His new roles will enable him to make an even greater impact on national policies and development initiatives.

1. Member – Standing Committee on Rural Development and Panchayati Raj

Dr. M. Dhanapal has been nominated as a member of the Standing Committee on Rural Development and Panchayati Raj (2024-2025).
This committee plays a critical role in shaping policies and programs for rural development, ensuring the empowerment of Panchayati Raj institutions, and promoting sustainable growth in villages across India.
His appointment will bring more attention and resources to rural areas in Tamil Nadu, especially in our constituency.

2. Member – Consultative Committee for the Ministry of Civil Aviation

In addition to this, Dr. Dhanapal has also been appointed as a member of the Consultative Committee for the Ministry of Civil Aviation.
This committee provides key recommendations to the government on aviation policies, passenger services, and infrastructure development.
With his presence, we can expect more focus on expanding air travel services and infrastructure improvements in Tamil Nadu, benefiting the people and businesses of the region.
